Preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) is a technique that selects normal embryos for transfer during intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and is suitable for genetic defects, chromosomal abnormalities, older women, recurrent miscarriages, repeated implantation failures, and severe teratospermia. It has been more than 30 years since the success of the first case of PGT. PGT technology has made great progress in clinical application, bringing hope for healthy offspring for patients with genetic diseases and infertility. This study aimed to explore a single freeze-thaw blastocyst transfer cycle to determine whether PGT is associated with a higher risk of adverse perinatal outcomes compared to IVF/ICSI.
