Every time I open the China Cardiovascular Disease Report, the curve that shows that the incidence of cardiovascular diseases in China has been rising for more than 10 years makes me feel like a light on my back. Although the increasing incidence of cardiovascular diseases is a pain that every developing country must experience in the transition process, as a healer who helps the world by hanging a pot, each of us cardiovascular doctors will ask ourselves: What should we do in the face of challenges? What have we done again? On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China, the editorial committee of Chinese Journal of Cardiovascular Diseases organized national famous cardiovascular experts to make an inventory of the progress of various cardiovascular fields in China in recent years. As the editor-in-chief, I got a sneak peek. The words of more than 10 monographs all reflect the struggle, persistence, growth and breakthrough of colleagues in China's cardiovascular circles over the years, and I am greatly encouraged after reading them!
