hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM) is a type of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, named after ventricular obstruction caused by hypertrophic ventricular septum. At present, there is no ideal treatment, and drug treatment is the first choice. However, some patients with HOCM are not effective or intolerable in drug treatment, and these patients need non-drug treatment methods. percutaneous transluminal septal myocardial ablation (PTSMA) is an interventional therapy. Its principle is to inject anhydrous alcohol through a catheter to occlude the septal branch of the coronary artery, so that the hypertrophic ventricular septal myocardium innervated by it is ischemic, necrotic, thinning, and reduced contractility, so that the obstruction of the ventricular outflow tract disappears or reduces, thus improving the clinical symptoms of HOCM patients[1]。
