coronary heart disease is the most common cardiovascular disease in China at present. non-ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTE-ACS), including unstable angina pectoris and non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI), is one of the most common types of coronary heart disease in clinic, with many complications and high mortality rate. Therefore, the timely and correct diagnosis and early standardized treatment of intrinsic syndrome are of great significance to improve the clinical prognosis of patients. In order to better guide clinical practice, the Coronary Heart Disease and Atherosclerosis Chemistry Group of the Cardiovascular Disease Branch of the Chinese Medical Association based on the results of recent clinical trials[1,2]Refer to the 2011 updated guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of unstable angina/NSTEMI published by the American College of Cardiology Foundation (ACCF) /American College of Cardiology (AHA) and the European Heart Association (ESC)[3,4]Combined with the specific situation of cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment in China, relevant experts were organized to review the 2007 "Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Unstable Angina Pectoris and Non-ST-segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction" in China[5]Make amendments to advance the standardized management of NSTE-ACS.
