As a function-preserving pancreatic surgery, laparoscopic local resection of pancreatic tumors is widely used in the treatment of all kinds of benign and low-grade malignant pancreatic tumors[1, 2]。 Compared with standard segmental pancreatectomy, it reduces the loss of normal pancreatic parenchyma and maximizes the protection of the endocrine and exocrine functions of the pancreas[3, 4]。 However, for tumors deep in the pancreatic parenchyma, the resection process is challenging. The blood supply of pancreatic tissue is extremely abundant, and it is easy to bleed during deep resection, which will interfere with the laparoscopic surgical field, increase the risk of main pancreatic duct injury, and lead to postoperative refractory pancreatic fistula. Therefore, we tried a technique of blocking the blood flow of pancreatic parenchyma, which can resect deep neck tumors of the pancreas in a relatively blood-free field of vision. The preliminary application results are reported below.
