At the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the health problems of children were particularly severe, and diseases such as tuberculosis, malnutrition and smallpox seriously threatened children's lives and health. On July 1, 1950, through the unremitting efforts of sages of all generations, under the overall coordination of Chinese Medical Association, Chinese Journal of Pediatrics was founded, with Professor Chen Cuizhen of Pediatrics of Shanghai First Medical College as the first editor-in-chief. The founding of Chinese Journal of Pediatrics demonstrates the responsibility of doctors to "protect life". The older generation of experts laid a solid foundation for the development of pediatric medicine in China with rigorous scholarship and condensed practical experience.

In the historical process of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, the development of modern Chinese medicine has always resonated with the fate of the country. In 1915, pioneers such as Wu Liande and Yan Fuqing founded the Chinese Medical Association, which opened a new era of Chinese medical modernization. On the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Medical Association, as a doctor who has been engaged in pediatric medical work for more than 40 years, looking back at the past, I feel a glorious mission and a heavy responsibility.

Five years ago, Professor Zhai Haihun, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hebei Medical University, initiated and promoted Hebei Medical University to open an elective course "History of Medicine" for doctoral students. As the head of pediatrics major of Hebei Medical University, he had the honor to give a lecture on "History of Pediatrics". From ancient times to modern times, from the west to the east, taking pediatrics as the main line, sorting out the course of pediatrics, consulting materials, exploring history, letting my thoughts wander in the long river of history, and communicating with medical sages and pediatric predecessors. One by one, the founders of modern Chinese pediatrics, who are vivid and magnificent, jump in front of them, which is moving and inspiring.

In the field of pediatrics, digital health intervention is mainly used in pediatric disease prevention and monitoring, health management, psychological support, behavior change, medication monitoring, etc. However, the usability of all stakeholders after the development of digital health interventions is generally poor, which may be related to the insufficient consideration of feedback of all stakeholders during the development and optimization process, such as the needs analysis of all parties during the development stage, testing of all parties after development, feedback and iteration, etc., that is, the usability test is insufficient.
