Patient journey is the whole process of patients from discovering discomfort symptoms, diagnosis, treatment to recovery, involving all links and all interactive experiences and experiences of patients and health care system. It focuses on multiple aspects of the patient's emotional experience, social support, treatment process, quality of life, and aims to fully understand the patient's needs and challenges. At present, the common research methods of patient journey are mainly qualitative research methods or quantitative research methods. However, when conducting cross-sectional qualitative research, it is difficult to obtain the behavior, disease changes, quality of life, experience and other processes that change over time of the same respondent. However, quantitative cohort studies are difficult to analyze the mechanisms and reasons behind the changes.
