mixed methods systematic review (MMSR) refers to a type of systematic review that includes ≥2 research types after comprehensive search for a specific problem to maximize understanding of a certain topic literature, and conducts rigorous quality evaluation, analysis and comprehensive integration of them to draw mixed conclusions.
