Ultra rapid lispro improves postprandial glucose control versus lispro in combination with insulin glargine/degludec in adults with type 2 diabetes: a prospective, randomized, double-blind, phase 3 trial. Sci Bull (Beijing), 2022, 67 (17): 1785 – 1791.]. This study is the first in the world to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ultra-fast-acting insulin lispro and insulin lispro in combination with basal insulin therapy in adult patients with type 2 diabetes, including East Asian populations. It was found that ultra-fast acting insulin lispro has good blood sugar control effect, is not inferior to insulin lispro, and has better control of postprandial blood sugar fluctuation.
