In October 2020, Gastroenterology, a renowned international journal in the field of digestive diseases (Gastroenterology) published a single-center, prospective, tandem design randomized controlled clinical study led by Dr. Wang Pu of Sichuan People's Hospital of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and designed in cooperation with the team of Professor Tyler Berzin, Department of Endoscopy, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, USA. The study confirmed that the artificial intelligence colon polyp recognition system based on deep learning technology can assist colonoscopists to reduce the missed diagnosis rate of colon adenoma.
