In order to implement the requirements of building world-class scientific and technological journals, the Chinese Medical Association has issued the "Construction Plan" to promote journal reform. Five journals have been selected for the 2026 project after evaluation. We will implement the "one publication, one policy" policy, promote the integration of publishing and digital transformation, and enhance the level of international influence and academic discourse construction.

On June 2, 2026, a delegation from the Saudi Clinical Laboratory Science Society of King Saud University visited the Journal of the Chinese Medical Association, and the two sides had in-depth exchanges on the construction of medical journals and the transformation of digital publishing. The Chinese side introduces the development achievements and quality control experience of Chinese series journals, while the Saudi side shares the progress of medical digital transformation under the "2030 Vision". Both parties have reached a consensus on international academic cooperation, journal co construction, and dissemination of scientific research achievements.

6月18日，出版伦理委员会（COPE）主席 Nancy Chescheir 率代表团访问中华医学会杂志社。双方围绕出版伦理、医学期刊合作、数字出版转型以及未来国际合作机遇等议题进行了深入交流。
