Imaging changes are the main basis for clinical diagnosis of white matter lesions. With the development and popularization of gene technology, enzyme detection technology, neuropsychological assessment and other detection methods, people's understanding of white matter lesions is gradually improved. Combined with the retrospective pathological analysis of the white matter lesions confirmed by imaging, we still suggest that the process of clinical occurrence and development of the disease is the most reliable basis for correct diagnosis.
familial fatal insomnia (FFI) is a rare autosomal dominant prionopathy, which is typically characterized by sleep disorders, with automatic behaviors accompanied by complex hallucinations and vivid dreams during sleep, and autonomic dysfunction, endocrine changes, movement disorders and cognitive dysfunction. This article expounds vertigo or dizziness from the perspective of otolaryngologists, so that clinicians can understand the clinical characteristics, diagnosis and treatment status and current research hotspots of common peripheral vertigo diseases, and provide further diagnosis and treatment experience for neurologists.
