multiple myeloma (MM) is a clonal plasma cell abnormal proliferation disease, with bone pain, pathological fracture, anemia, proteinuria and renal insufficiency as the main clinical symptoms. It can be classified into the categories of "bone paralysis", "bone erosion", "osteoma", "deficiency fatigue", "blood syndrome" and "mass" in traditional Chinese medicine. Chinese medicine names it "myeloma"[1]。 With the in-depth understanding of MM, new testing items and the development and application of new drugs, it is necessary to further standardize the diagnosis and treatment of MM. Traditional Chinese medicine, as the motherland medicine, plays an important role in the supportive treatment of MM. Therefore, this consensus was compiled by the Hematology Professional Committee of Chinese Medical Education Association and the Myeloma Expert Committee of the Hematology Professional Committee of Chinese Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine for clinical reference.
