To be a good clinician, clinical research is essential. A qualified clinician should apply the best research evidence currently available carefully, accurately and wisely when making decisions about disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Many research results have been accumulated in the medical field, and researchers all over the world are publishing new research results every day. For most doctors, they must constantly update their knowledge in order to keep up with the forefront of medical development and provide the best service for patients. At the same time, it also requires doctors to think like scientists, critically understand clinical research conclusions, and apply research evidence correctly, objectively and in combination with practice.This requires clinicians to know how the conclusions of each study are drawn, whether the conclusions are reliable, and whether the results of the study can be used for reference when diagnosing and treating their patients. Many doctors would think of scientific research as laboratory work, feeding mice or growing cells. In fact, clinical studies explore the causal relationship between risk factors and outcomes of diseases, the effectiveness and safety of interventional treatments, and the medical expenses/benefits of different treatment measures, which are all scientific problems encountered by clinicians in their daily work. The best way for clinicians to fully grasp and understand this knowledge is to participate in clinical research, which helps to establish the thinking of evidence-based medicine and correctly apply the results of these studies to analyze and solve problems. Clinical research and clinical practice should be highly integrated, not opposed to each other. The work of clinicians in our country is very heavy, and a lot of repetitive work is completed every day. If we do not critically assess what is done and take for granted what is repeatedly done in clinical work, we will lack the drive and thinking to innovate, and medical development will stagnate. In clinical practice, every doctor will encounter many unsolved problems. The more front-line doctors are, the more they can raise the most important clinical questions. For example, in patients after acute stroke, whether different postures (semi-recumbent or recumbent) have an impact on the recovery of neurological function and accumulated pneumonia? Such a clinical problem seems simple, but it has important clinical significance. Clinical studies on such problems can be published in influential journals and guide clinical practice worldwide[
