The Second National Conference on Laboratory Medicine of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, sponsored by the Laboratory Medicine Professional Committee of Chinese Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, was held in Jinan, Shandong Province from July 2 to 4, 2015. More than 1,000 inspection colleagues from across the country attended the conference. During the conference, more than ten well-known experts at home and abroad gave wonderful academic reports of the conference; More than 40 domestic experts gave academic lectures on current clinical work, scientific research hotspots, difficulties and frontiers at 10 special conferences on tumors, blood diseases, liver diseases, integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, immune diseases, infections, cardiovascular diseases, endocrine and metabolic diseases, new technologies and quality control.
The "10th National Laboratory and Clinical Academic Conference and 2015 Annual Meeting of Laboratory Physicians of Chinese Medical Physicians Association" sponsored by Chinese Medical Physicians Association and Laboratory Physicians Branch of Chinese Medical Physicians Association was held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province from July 2 to 4, 2015. With the theme of "Focusing on the Hotspots of Medical Development and Enriching the Connotation of Laboratory Medicine", the opening ceremony was attended by leaders from all walks of life such as Chinese Medical Doctors Association, Ministry of Science and Technology, and Henan Medical Doctors Association. Zhang Man, president of Laboratory Physician Branch of Chinese Medical Doctors Association, introduced the working purpose of Laboratory Physician Branch under the leadership of Chinese Medical Doctors Association, namely, "three combinations-combining clinical practice to drive the development of laboratory profession, combining diseases to drive the construction of characteristic laboratory expert team, combining enterprises to drive the transformation of laboratory medicine in production, academia, research and application", "three walks-going into wards to quickly and accurately serve clinical services, going into families to realize precise health management, and going into grassroots to improve the overall strength of laboratory industry".
People's Medical Publishing House's "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" key academic monograph "Clinical Microbiology Laboratory" was officially published in June 2015. This book is led by Professor Wang Hui, edited by Wang Hui, Ren Jianjian and Wang Minggui, and deputy editors by Ma Xiaoling, Cao Bin and Chen Baiyi. The presiding judges are Chen Minjun and Zhang Zheng. The editorial board consists of 28 members. The book basically meets the requirements of People's Medical Publishing House and its editor-in-chief-comprehensive, in-depth, cutting-edge, fine, authoritative, credible, recent and practical.
ISO 15189 Edition 3 is a comprehensive revision of the 2003 edition, adding new concerns to make it more consistent with the actual work of medical laboratories. China National Accreditation Commission for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) adopted the same, and formulated CNAS-CL02:2012 "Accreditation Guidelines for Quality and Ability of Medical Laboratories", which was issued on November 22, 2013. At the same time, it issued application instructions in various professional fields, requiring accredited laboratories to switch within the specified time, and laboratories applying for accreditation must establish quality systems according to the new standards.
