Chromosomal diseases can cause serious birth defects. Karyotype analysis, as the gold standard of prenatal diagnosis, is an effective intervention for birth defects. It can detect abnormal number of chromosomes and structural abnormalities such as deletion and duplication of large fragments, but cannot diagnose fragment size<5 000 000 bp And microdeletion syndrome with significant clinical significance. The developed Bacterial Artificial Chromosome Marker-Magnetic Bead Identification/Isolation Technique (BACS-on-BeadsTM, Bobs; Perkin Elmer) based on liquid-phase chip technology is a novel assay for rapid prenatal diagnosis targeting five aneuploid abnormalities (13, 18, 21, X and Y chromosomes) and nine of the most common microdeletion syndromes, including Wolf – Hirschhorn, Cri du Chat, Williams – Beuren, Langer – Giedion, Prader – Willi/Angelman, Miller – Dieker, Smith – Magenis and DiGeorge syndromes. This study evaluated the use of the Bobs technique in prenatal diagnosis by retrospectively testing 10 positive specimens and performing a prospective study on a sample of 401 pregnant women.
Bacillary dysentery (hereinafter referred to as "bacillary dysentery") is a serious public health problem faced by the world with wide epidemic range, rapid spread and high incidence. The pathogen causing bacillary dysentery is Shigella. Shigella genus is divided into four groups: Shigella dysenteriae, Shigella flexneri, Shigella baumannii and Shigella sonnei. Shigella sonnei is prevalent in developed countries, while Shigella flexneri is dominant in developing countries for many years. However, Shigella sonnei has been increasing significantly in recent years[
