MedPaper® is an intelligent knowledge service platform developed by the Chinese Medical Association Publishing House based on generative artificial intelligence technologies. It provides over 200 intelligent agents covering core application scenarios such as intelligent Q&A, service consultation, research assistance, academic writing support, topic selection and planning, and clinical decision support. The platform delivers efficient and reliable evidence-based support and manuscript assistance services for researchers and healthcare professionals.

As a core achievement of the Chinese Medical Association Publishing House in advancing the digitalization and intelligence of medical knowledge services, MedPaper® leverages the publisher’s authoritative academic resources and expert network. Built on a “knowledge middleware platform” architecture and powered by advanced technologies including large language models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and knowledge graphs, it establishes an integrated “evidence–tools–scenarios–ecosystem” medical knowledge service system, providing systematic, verifiable, and traceable evidence-based solutions for both research and clinical practice.

During its pilot operation phase, MedPaper® has focused on three major application scenarios—clinical decision support, medical research and academic writing, and journal service consultation. It has continuously optimized more than 200 knowledge-based intelligent agents and enhanced specialized functions such as manuscript pre-review, full-text editing, English language polishing, and academic translation. At the same time, it has improved the user interface and interaction experience, incorporated extensive user feedback, and completed multiple iterative upgrades. These efforts have significantly improved service response efficiency, content accuracy, and user experience, earning broad recognition from pilot users.

The official launch of MedPaper® marks a new phase in the digital transformation of the Chinese Medical Association Publishing House, advancing its services into an intelligent, AI-driven stage. It represents a strategic shift from traditional “passive content delivery” to “active knowledge interaction.”

Built upon a robust, authoritative foundation and a multi-tiered scholarly knowledge base of over 1.5 million publications, the platform is supported by a comprehensive professional validation system. MedPaper® continuously enhances end-to-end support for both research and clinical applications, addressing longstanding challenges in fragmented information access, delayed updates, limited traceability, and low retrieval efficiency in medical knowledge services.

The platform provides healthcare institutions and research organizations with efficient, precise, and reliable knowledge services, accelerating research productivity and facilitating the translation of scientific outcomes.

Looking ahead, MedPaper® will take its official launch as a new starting point, continuously advancing its AI capabilities, optimizing service scenarios, and improving ecosystem integration. Grounded in authoritative knowledge and empowered by intelligent technologies, it aims to make significant contributions to medical innovation and clinical advancement in China, supporting high-quality development across the healthcare sector.
