Professor Zhendong Jin is a Professor, Chief Physician, and Doctoral Supervisor. He currently serves as Executive Director of the Department of Gastroenterology at Changhai Hospital, Naval Medical University, and is a recipient of the State Council Special Allowance. His research focuses primarily on the clinical application and translational research of endoscopic ultrasound in gastrointestinal diseases. He currently serves as Chair of the Chinese Society of Digestive Endoscopy, Chinese Medical Association; Executive Committee Member of the Asia-Pacific Endoscopic Ultrasound Alliance; Vice President of the Digestive Physicians Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association; Editor-in-Chief of Chinese Journal of Digestive Endoscopy; Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Endoscopic Ultrasound; and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Chinese Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (Electronic Edition). Professor Jin has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the Second Prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award, the First Prize of the Shanghai Teaching Achievement Award, the First Prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, and the Second Prize of the Military Science and Technology Progress Award. In 2017, he was honored with the inaugural “National Renowned Physician · Outstanding Achievement Award”. He has served as Editor-in-Chief of more than ten professional monographs, including Endoscopic Ultrasonography in Gastroenterology.
