Neurological diseases are common and frequent, with high disability and mortality rates, which are a major threat to human health. At the same time, many common neurological diseases, such as stroke, Alzheimer's disease (AD), vascular dementia (VaD), Parkinson's disease (PD), multiple sclerosis (MS), epilepsy and primary headache, are easily accompanied or co-morbidity with depression and anxiety disorders. Depression and anxiety disorder have many serious effects on neurological diseases: it makes the diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases more complicated and difficult, induces or aggravates neurological diseases (stroke, AD or MS), affects patients' compliance with disease prevention and treatment and rehabilitation, significantly increases functional disability, disease recurrence and mortality, seriously affects patients' quality of life, and significantly increases the socio-economic burden of diseases[1,2,3,4,5,6]。
