invasive fungal infection (IFI) is one of the main infectious complications and causes of death in patients with hematological diseases/malignant tumors. Epidemiological studies at home and abroad have shown that the incidence of invasive fungal infection in patients with hematological diseases is on the rise, and the clinical diagnosis of IFI is difficult, and delayed treatment will lead to an increase in mortality. Clinical studies have shown that the mortality rate of Candida and Aspergillus infection is nearly 40% ~50%, which seriously affects the long-term survival of patients with hematological diseases/malignant tumors[1,2,3,4]。 China Invasive Fungal Infection Working Group has formulated the diagnostic criteria and treatment principles of invasive fungal infection in China (hereinafter referred to as the guidelines) with reference to European and American standards, and revised them twice successively, which has improved the diagnosis and treatment level of invasive fungal infection in patients with hematological diseases/malignant tumors in China[5]。 On the basis of previous guidelines, combined with the latest progress in epidemiology and clinical treatment of fungal infections in hematological diseases/malignant tumors in China in recent years and foreign guidelines, after repeated discussions, the working group formulated the diagnostic criteria and treatment principles of invasive fungal diseases in patients with hematological diseases/malignant tumors in China. The author makes further analysis and interpretation on the main characteristics of the new edition of the guide, especially the important concept update.
