The prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in China has achieved initial results, but it is still facing severe challenges. According to the "China Cardiovascular Disease Report 2017", cardiovascular disease deaths in China account for more than 40% of residents' disease deaths, which is higher than tumors and other diseases, and the prevalence and mortality rate are still rising. Since 2004, the average annual growth rate of hospitalization expenses for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in China is much higher than the growth rate of GDP, which has become a major public health problem, and it is urgent to prevent and treat cardiovascular diseases.
