Traumatic craniocerebral injury is the damage of mechanical force to the various components of the head, which leads to different degrees and types of clinical outcomes. Refined management of craniocerebral injury is one of the ways to improve the prognosis of patients[1]。 The cranial cavity structure is a close rigid space composed of the skull. Its contents mainly include brain tissue, blood and cerebrospinal fluid. Under normal physiological conditions, there is volume compensation between each part to maintain intracranial pressure and blood supply stability, which is the basic guarantee for maintaining normal brain function state[2]。 The pathophysiological process of severe craniocerebral trauma includes the dynamic changes of cerebrospinal fluid, and it is closely related to the management of cerebrospinal fluid in many links of clinical management of severe craniocerebral trauma. Based on this, this expert group discussed and wrote this consensus.
